County Social Services Agency Opens New North County Office

SAN JOSE - Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian will join Mountain View Mayor Chris Clark and the staff of the County Social Services Agency at the grand opening of the new North County district office of the Social Services Agency on Wednesday, February 26th.

The new district office will serve as a one-stop center, accepting both new and continuing benefits clients, and boasting a state-of-the-art Employment Services Center.

“For a great many folks, making it in Mountain View is a daily struggle,” said Simitian.  “But with help that’s real and local, they can not only survive, but thrive. Keeping these services here in the North County has been a priority since my first day back at the County.”
