Simitian to Serve as a Celebrity Storyteller at the Saratoga Library

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAN JOSE – County Supervisor Joe Simitian will serve as a “celebrity storyteller” at the Los Altos Library on Tuesday evening, February 11, as part of the Santa Clara County Library District’s annual Silicon Valley Reads series.

Simitian will read The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore by William Joyce to families who assemble at the library for family storytime. The book inspires and encourages young children to delight in the joyful, rewarding experience of reading – not just at school or at home, but anywhere.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to share my love of reading with young students,” said Simitian, who represents Los Altos and Los Altos Hills.

Interested reporters or photographers should contact Simitian’s office in advance of the event so they can be directed to the appropriate location.
